Ashley Neal Hyatt sent a message to Matthew S. Levatich - President and Chief Executive Officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc. - Email Address that said:
Hello, my name is Ashley Neal Hyatt, I purchased a brand new HD a little over a month ago. I was told that all tag related issues are taken care of. On about day 20 and no tag I became concerned and called Blue Ridge Harley Davidson and was told it was being investigated and they would call back. After 5 days with no response I called again. I was told someone would call back within 5 minutes. Thankfully that did happen and was told again it was being investigated and someone would call me the next day. After no response again I was able to reach my sales rep who told me he was sorry but I needed to handle everything at DMV myself. Although angry I said ok. On Monday 5/15 I went to the DMV only to be told all my paperwork was copies and I could not get a tag. Since calling BRHD and sales rep on multiple occasions wasnt getting me nothing, I decided to try email on Tuesday. He responded within minutes and said he would help me. It is now Thursday and havent heard a word. That being said, I have never been so disappointed with any purchase in my 42 years. I have spent 20k dollars in a bike I cannot ride legally now because of HD. I feel that the sell is complete and caring about the customer is completely missing. I am resorting to the corporate office in hopes of any resolution before I resort to my next only option. I am begging for your assistance. Please forward this email to anyone who cares and can get something done. Thank you.
