I have had about enough of LabCorps billing methods and business practices...
1) There is double billing. Insurance payments are accepted, then I receive additional direct billing for between 3 and 10 dollars more.
LabCorp needs to get over itself. Either accept the insurance payment as payment in full, or refuse to provide the service, and Ill go elsewhere. It is NOT LabCorps option to perform the tests and double bill. Harassing me for payment needs to stop immediately, as I have never made a contract with LabCorp for services. That contract is between LabCorp and the Doctors Office.
2) Twice now, I have receiving bills for the entire cost of the tests, and many more times, threatening letters, for services LabCorp provided at the request of my medical provider because LabCorps Insurance Information is incorrect.
All anyone at LabCorp has to do is call the Doctors office and get the right information. I am NEVER going to provide that information directly to LabCorp because I have already provided it to my Doctors office, and the only way to stop this problem is for LabCorp and the Doctors Office to get their records in sync. Harassing me for payment needs to stop immediately, as I have never made a contract with LabCorp for services. That contract is between LabCorp and the Doctors Office.
On a more personal note, LabCorps expected rates for your testing services are outrageous. I used to work at Armstrong Labs, and I know, pretty much, what work (man hours and resources) is required for those tests.
These types of problems are precisely why I carry insurance... Another significant reason is to specifically prevent me from having to get involved, like Im having to do now.
I, and my wife, have already sent multiple letters to LabCorp concerning these issues and what the correct resolution is. Consider them, and this notice as a professional courtesy. There will be no more.
Do the right thing and fix this, without involving me or my wife, any further!!! And do it quickly. My patience wears thin...VERY thin.
