Neill Richard Potts sent a message to Michael OLeary - CEO, Ryanair - Email Address that said:

CANCELLED POLICY G001GBRES812217090

I cannot believe that you continue to bury your heads in the sand regarding this matter.

1. I noticed that my car insurance policy with you was not in the correct name and amended it to Neill Richard Potts using your own system which confirmed that the amendment was successful

Dear Neill Richard,

We would like to inform you that we have successfully processed the amendment you requested for booking ES805764890.

Kind regards,

Ryanair Team

2. When you eventually emailed the new insurance documents they were still wrong ... they hadnt been changed ... your computer system stated that the amendments were successful ... try it for heavens sake and see the error in your computer programme for yourselves. I tried over and over again to amend the details and each time your system confirmed the changes were successful - but your emails stated otherwise.

3. If the name on the insurance has to match exactly the car hire details then make sure the computer programme cross checks these details and if there is a mis-match an error message should be returned. Should it not???

4. Your email didnt just tell me the Insurance Policy was to be cancelled it declared it would also be refunded!!! You have again lied in your email.

5. It was on the basis of your email saying the policy was to be cancelled and refunded that I took out alternative insurance and it was only after this did you again contact me with further details of the insurance and advising me to print out the vouchers before collecting the car ... days after I had already collected the car.

Your computer programme is faulty in allowing people to amend their details and state that the amendment was successful only to issue an email with the incorrect details.

Your emails are faulty in stating that a refund is to be made when clearly you never had the slightest intention of refunding the premium. Why do you issue emails saying a refund is authorised ???

Why will you not refund me for an insurance policy which was not valid, which I tried to correct but your system wouldnt let me although it said everytime the change to the correct name was successful, you confirmed you would refund me but now refuse to do so.

Why?

Regards

Neill Richard Potts
