Susan Noreen Parker sent a message to Greg D. Carmichael - Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Third Bancorp - Email Address that said:
I had my truck loan through Fifth Third Bank. From the start there were issues with your bank.
1. Didnt get my payment book , call and was told that if I didnt make my payment on time there would be an additional charge on my account. I told them that I had called several times to get the payment book. Was told that the payment book went to my home address. I dont receive mail at my home because I dont have mail service at my home, I have a PO Box. Finally I got my payment books.
2.I made a payment on my account and someone took the check that I sent to your bank for my payment, and hacked my accounts.
3.I called for the pay off on my truck and sent the money by register mail. I called to follow up and make sure that the bank received my payment and they payment department was unable to locate my payment. I was told to call back in a few days, finally my payment was located and applied to my account.
4.I called looking for the title to my truck and was told that I should receive it by the end of May. My truck was paid off on May 8th.
5.I didnt receive my title, I continued to call and was always given the song and dance that they sent it to my home address, they would verify that the PO Box address was on my file, which it was.
6.I have called 15 times looking for my title and I did receive a lien release. NO TITLE. I called back today and Sammie in Customer Service said there is only one title and that if it shows it was mailed out, then it got lost in the mail. If it was lost in the mail, why did everyone in your Customer Service keep telling me that they were re-sending the title to me. I asked what Im I to do now for my title, Sammie said I can go to Motor Vehicle, with the lien release and get a copy of my title. That is great since I will have to explain to Motor Vehicle and explain how the Fifth Third Bank lost my title.
I expect that nothing will come of this letter to you and that my title is lost. I called the dealership that I purchased my truck from and told them not to use Fifth Third Bank. I will tell everyone that I know not to use Fifth Third Bank.
If you would like to reply, please do.
