Christine Lewandowski sent a message to Mark Bertolini - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aetna - Email Address that said:

I am scheduled for a routine colonoscopy screening in 12 days. Because I had 2 polyps 5 years ago, I must pay $300 for the facility. Does that mean that you know I have polyps this time? What if I dont? Why would I have to pay if I am given a clean bill of health? Why doesnt Aetna charge for the facility ONLY IF the patient has polyps and then it goes into a surgery? I feel you are assuming that I will have them again. This does not seem fair. I might have a clean bill of health this time.
