Hi Mr. Edwards, this will be a strange request but I am a former employee of Safeway in Hope, AR. sadly Safeway is not in this region any longer but till this day has left memories from a pretty great group of people that were proudly employed and became a strong network of friends. you see we are planning a Safeway reunion in October, former employees will get together and share some great memories of the wonderful time shared while working for great management and a company that was highly respected in this community. I was hoping that Safeway would perhaps send a letter of recognition or perhaps some HR items with Safeway logo. Just anything small to surprise the former employees. many years were served, some retired while some experienced their 1st job but all experienced a time where respect and hard work just what we all did. Customers today come to several of us and comment how they miss the experience and enjoyment for when they shopped at Safeway it was like being with family. Forgive me for rambling, I just was not sure who to start with. I hope I am explaining how big of a deal this is. my personal # is 870-403-4064. we have a meeting in two weeks to finalize the Oct. 21st reunion that will be held at a local restaurant.
