Dear Mr. Stack , As C.E.O for Your Company Dicks Sporting Goods. I would like to tell you of my most recent online purchase of a Maverick Kayak! Back on June 23rd. I placed and paid for a order#10025223052 as stated a Maverick 10 foot Kayak. On that same day, I received a Thank you for your order email which stated order was being processed and I would be advised of a tracking # and delivery date ! On July 5th. I received a it is on its way email to my above address with the aforementioned delivery date (07/21/2017) and a tracking # 5614053922. Tracking it daily I noticed no change in the curbside delivery date I paid extra for, and anxiously awaited 07/21/2017 ! That date was yesterday ! In the early morning I did research on how the delivery notification takes place. I found that the driver calls prior to delivery to make sure someone is there to receive it . Having recently purchased a new cellphone, I decided to call your customer service number and advise them of that fact and also the fact that I would be available all day for the delivery. I spoke with a Lady named Ty who was outstanding to deal with. She advised me she would call the carrier and let them know my information and also to pass along that I would be available all day, having to use a valuable day to anxiously await my purchase. She called me back to inform me my Kayak would be delivered Monday 24th. as We do not deliver on weekends was the quote from the carrier representative. I always thought the weekend starts after the workday on Friday ends ! I accepted that because she was so pleasant to deal with ! However as I pondered my situation I became increasingly upset as now I would need to wait for the days to pass and still need to take another precious day off to be available for delivery ! Time is money and I was already behind ! So Today 07/22/2017 I decided to call customer service and request a reimbursement for non-delivery of a promised dated item from July 5th. I spoke with Teddy who was patient as I relayed my story and told me to hold for a store manager which I patiently did, After about 15 minutes on hold the call disconnected abruptly, and I was left to call back and wait for another representative.
