Bill Dilbeck sent a message to Kazuo Hirai President and CEO, Sony Corporation - email address that said:
I have sent 2 e-mails suggesting that maybe Sony would bring back the Beats Max and combining it with a DVD recorder for so many people have Beta tapes they can not view due to their player is worn out and there are no longer parts to fix them or possibly bringing back the Beta Max player on a limited basis so people can buy them and view their tapes for Beta Max had a much better picture than a VHS tape, so with this in mind maybe Sony would venture into this i know that they would make a good profit.
