Mr. Thomas, I have been a Windstream customer for 13 years in Jasper, GA. My service for 13 years has been 3mb service paying $66.71/month. The service has been historically spotty for the entire time. I live less than a mile from higher speeds being offered by Windstream and ETC. I pay less at my business internet than I do for this service. I along with many others feel Windstream has essentially abandoned us in this area. If a competitor ever extended their lines another1/2 mile to our area everyone would immediately switch. Please look into your infrastructure. Locally we are always told the same thing that eventually things will change.
I am actually considering selling my house just to move away from this bad service. I am a developer in the area and when asked I have no choice but to never recommend Windstream.
