I wanted to take a brief moment and say hello since it has been a while since I have seen you at the Dicks Sporting Goods Open.
I grew up in Endicott and graduated from Vestal. As a child in the late 50s and 60s I always went with my dad to your Dads store as my father always made a point to give your Dad business for the school system. My father , Athletic Director at Vestal always was amazed at how hard your Dad worked and was always certain to make sure that he and Fred Zappia shared the business for sporting goods products for the school. So even though I am in Tampa, I have to be one of Dicks oldest customers,lol.
I am writing because I am very impressed with your store here in Citrus mall and will be visiting to apply for any position they may have available. For me it would be an honor to work for Dicks and I felt it might not hurt to drop you a note. Last time I saw you I was with Tom Shiptenko at the golf tournament and he got a kick out of my stories about my dad visiting your dads store and how my dad always was amazed. He would say, " That poor man works so hard, I dont know how he stays in business?" But my dad was certain to make sure that your dad got contracts from Vestal for sporting goods. Both your dad and my dad were of a generation lost and both were very honorable men.
I hope all is well with you and your family and I hope this email is not annoying to you as I know you are a very busy man.
