If this email actually makes it to the CEO, let it be known that I am sending the same message to Chevron and Phillips. That said, I need to get some things off my conscience.
I work for a distributor out of Nottingham, PA. Reit Lubricants. A while back, Mobil decided to go to exclusive distributors only.... as we have been told. Since then, we have had an excess stock of Mobil products that we could no longer sell. And heres where the problems begin.....
Recently, a leftover Mobil product Pegasus (610?) was sold to a customer as Phillips PhilPride Premium 805. The problem here is that I feel not only was the product misrepresented but constitutes fraud. To protect myself, I have taken photos of the loading/delivery documents as well as retained a bottle sample.
A stockpile of Mobil product cases are being poured into 55 gallon drums, and then mixed in with the bulk Chevron products. Thus, our customers are not getting the true pure product that they think they are.
So, I have said my peace and have let this be know to The Powers That Be.
I know if this gets back to the Company, I will loose my employment which I desperately need, but I feel my own integrity and conscience are worth more than this job.
