On August 22nd at 9:14 am, I preordered COD WWII on PS4 on GameStop.com The funds were withdrawn from my account the same day at 2:09 am. I have called the number, 1-800-883-8895, (the GameStop customer service line) on four different occasions and was never able to communicate with a human being.
Furthermore, the excessive wait times are absolutely unacceptable. (I made it to 2 hours, still never talked to a person)
After visiting my neighborhood GameStop store, they couldnt help me either. (I brought the receipt, my drivers license etc. no help)
While I sympathize with the employees of GameStop the week of a new Call of Duty release, the lack of customer service I have received is inexcusable.
Not only did I miss the original release date and the first double experience weekend, I still never even received the game I have payed $64.99 for.
I will gladly provide you with my order number.
Please convince me why I should I continue shopping at GameStop, or if Im missing some information. Despite my frustrations, Im still a loyal fan of GameStop.
