Sub- Complaint against the SAMSUNG Manufacturer of Fridge
and others Consumable durable
Samsung Refrigerator ( RT3135TNBSU/TL )
Bearing No. R3834PACA01496H

After having much perturbed and disturbed, I am approaching you with the hope that some justice and relief will be done for me.

The Complaint is about the Defected Fridge supplied by the SAMSUNG one of the leading manufacturer / supplier of the Fridge.

I have purchased the said Fridge on 23.11.2012 from Samsung Dealer Vijay Sales for Rs.28, 500/- for the marriage of my Daughter.

Unluckily the functioning of the Fridge was malafide and was not giving proper cooling . Besides this there was leakage inside the Fridge between wall and the Body of the Fridge. However the function of the compressor was normal. Due to the presence of water and moisture inside the Fridge, my eatables get perished.

On my two different Complaints, Two different Engineers namely Akklish and Zakir have visited thrice our premises. According to them The Fridge cannot be repaired and need to be replaced and reported the matter to the respective Department.

It will be out of place to mention that the Fridge is under the warranty period of 10 years, and according to the definition of warranty, it is the liability of the manufacturer or to replace the fridge . For your ready reference, I am giving below the definition of warranty which is as under:

On our complaint, our matter was refered to Shri Pradeep Kumar Sr. Executive who has emailed us that since the fridge is not repairable. We are agreeable to pay 10% of the invoice value. However, we did not agree to this and again complained to CEO that such a mere amount of Rs.2,700/- is not acceptable to my daughter .

Then the same person Shri Pradeep Kumar extended the compensation amount to 20% which is nearly Rs.5,400/-.

According to the definition of warranty, it is the liability of the company to keep the fridge in running condition till the warranty ends. I therefore approach you to intervene in the matter that falls under your jurisdiction.

Further please note that Samsung is supplying spurious products with parts manufactured from China and non-standard local manufactures and as such products are not upto the standard.

The company is minting money after supplying such non-standard products in India and further transferring the amount to their collaborators in Korea. As all controls, like licensing etc. are under your control, you can put pressure on them to settle the claim by replacing the fridge.

Nevertheless I may also inform that I have given an option that I am ready to pay 50% of the invoice value for getting it replaced with new fridge but the Samsung Company is not accepting my proposal and keeping themselves idle.

I do hope that with your intervention in the matter, I may be able to get my fridge replaced after paying 50% value of the invoice value.
