Dear Mr. Rutledge. I received my Spectrum bill in the mail on October 26th 2017, to find that my internet only cost had skyrocketed from $49.99 to $64.99. I have been a loyal Time Warner customer for many years. With Time Warner I had the 3rd tier of internet almost the fastest speed. Full TV (including several premium channels eg; HBO, Showtime, Encore, Movies on Demand etc;). My cable bill with Time Warner became outrageous, and movies on demand rarely worked! Prompting me to go full streaming. I stayed with Time Warner for my internet since I was very happy with that service. Time Warner kept increasing my internet bill, and I called them and said I was going to switch to Frontier internet. My two sisters and several of my friends use Frontier for their internet and they were more than satisfied with Frontier. I figured Id call Time Warner and let them know of my intent to switch and they offered me $49.99 per month for the same speed I was using. I thought that was an excellent and fair price (even though Frontier offered me $19.99 per month with a 2 year contract) I was very tempted to go with Frontier, but I stuck with Time Warner. Now I find that Spectrum formerly know as Time Warner has raised my price to $64.99 or effectively $65.00 dollars. I honestly do not see the value in an $15.00 increase. I called Spectrum today 11-13-2017 to see what could be done and Sherry (the Spectrum rep) didnt see why my bill had gone up. She said my promotion period hadnt run out, and put me on hold to so she could talk to a supervisor to see what was going on. Needless to say I was on hold for 8-10 minutes, and she said since were now Spectrum your rate is going up. I said can I get back into a promotion and she said no! Not unless I get phone and TV. I was OUTRAGED! In any case, I just wanted to let you know that I will be switching my internet to Frontier. I dont expect you to do anything, however I just wanted to get this off of my chest. I will avail you of my account number here so if you choose you may look into this. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. 202-136128704-001
