This past week I bought bacon at our local Safeway in Woodland, WA. Got it home and opened the package so I could FoodSaver it and was once again irritated with what I found. It just happened a short time ago but I did not take it back. Just saved what I could. This time I took it back and complained. This is totally unacceptable for a company such at Safeway. To be so deceiving is wrong. I do not know who you have package your bacon but they are being dishonest. They will put a couple meaty nice strips on the outside edges and then inside it is all fat and gross. The meat manager here in Woodland was great and very apologetic even though it is not his fault. He deserves a pat on the back. He told me he had a shipment coming in the next day and to come back and he would have another package for me. Unfortunately we didnt open it and I found the same deceit in this package. Did not want to drive back over so salvaged what I could. Just wanted you to know that this is going on and it doesnt bode well for Safeway and its product. I took a picture of the amount of fat that was in the package but cant load it on here. I hope you look into the matter.
