Greeting and Happy Thanksgiving.
I went to my Home Depot store on Nov 13 to get a quote for some lumber and fencing
I have approximately 280 lf of fence I need to replace
I received a quote from MIke Lenios at the Pro Services Desk and was informed that the discounts/bid would be applied once I was ready to order. I thanked him for being so helpful.
I returned to the store Saturday Nov. 18 to place my order.
I normed the associate that I had a previous quote and that I was read to buy.
The associate working the Pro Desk that day told me that I could not get any discounts/bid.
I then asked if I should go across the street to Lowes and spend my $2,500 (twenty five hundred) there (as Im doing a section of fencing at a time), she said yes.
So I did.
Im perplexed. I normally get pretty good service and pricing from Home Depot.
I did inform Mike the next time I saw him in the store and he like me just shook his head in dismay.
Just wanted to vent.
