Hello, My name is Bob Scoble, Myself and several dozen of my neighbors are actively – Thomas M Rutledge email address

Bob Scoble sent a message to Thomas M. Rutledge Chief Executive Officer and President of Charter Communications, Inc. Email Address that said:

Hello, My name is Bob Scoble, Myself and several dozen of my neighbors are actively seeking to switch from our local cable provider to Spectrum. Most all of us are hitting a snag. Despite constant mailings telling us that Spectrum is now available to us, only a portion of our neighborhood is serviceable.

The main service trunk line running across my rear property, I was understandably told that as a policy, they do not run taps off of trunk lines. While I would not complain, I can totally understand the policy.

Recently, I was told that only the newest part of the neighborhood is being serviced as they never installed the infrastructure in the rest of the 3 year old neighborhood. Earlier, I was told it I would need to provide a cost share of a bit over $3,000 to obtain service. Others in the neighborhood have been told upwards of $17,000 to be serviced. With no ability to recoup that, who would honestly pay that to save $20-30 a month.

I know at least 3 in my cul-de-sac would switch to Spectrum in a heartbeat if we could. Our community Facebook shows many-many more in the same situation.

Is there anything that can be done? We all have Cable now. Just not the one we want.

Thanks in advance for entertaining my rant.
