I really didnt want to send this email but Im sure your focus is on ensuring a premium experience.
I just bought the new M4- Taylor Made irons from Golf Galaxy in Portland, Oregon. When I arrived at the store I knew I was there to buy but wanted to ensure I was getting the right specs for my swing (loft-Lie and Shaft) no one was really interested in helping so I went to find an associate to see If I could hit a few balls. Long story is I did purchase from GG and they needed to order the clubs from Taylor Made. I went to the Dicks Sporting Good Website and put in the order number and nothing. Cant find the order so I called the 877 help desk number for assistance. The customer support person told me that the order number I provided her was wrong 033987835 and I explained to her I was looking at the receipt and this was the only number on it. All I was looking for was an ETA of the clubs. When she told me: Will you let me talk, was when I asked for a supervisor as she insisted I wasnt giving her the correct number. I spoke to a gentlemen that looked up the order and was following up with the vendor and ccd me on the email (very helpful). He also stated he gave me another 150 points? I asked was does that mean? You now have 950 point towards other items. Interesting as I had no Idea I had any point and if they would have told me that at Golf Galaxy I would have thought I better use these now as I will more than likely forget and then they may expire. So they missed an opportunity to further sell me additional items.
Im sorry for the length of this email but I was truly excited to buy these new clubs and the overall experience was poor at best and I still dont know when my new clubs will arrive.
Regards
Richard
