I have been a member of bright house and spectrum for over 10 years. I called spectrum on Feb. 5, 2018 regarding putting a code and a code name on my account so no movies could be ordered. I talked with the tech. and according to him I had given someone my code, which I had not, we went back and fourth so I eat that, I changed my pin and added a pin name, I was assured by the tech. that no one would be able to order movies unless they called spectrum with my pin and name, I question him again to be sure that no one would be able to order movies, I was assured again that no one would be able to order movies, I told the tech. that if any movies was ordered spectrum would be responsible for them, more movies were order and I have been going back and fourth with them about this. They said it was billing fault, billing said it was a tech problem, now they said I gave someone my pin, which is a lie, I'm 65 years old and I don't watch those kind of movies. Billing said that a Tech should have been sent to my house to put the pin on each TV, no one was sent to my house. I'm being told that even when they changed the pin something else was supposed to be done, each TV should have had the pin entered separately, Nobody told me any of this nor no one came to my house. I just paid Feb. and March bill and through that was finished paying for the movies until this month. Apparently someone at spectrum is not doing what they are suppose to do I took Spectrum at their word that no one would be able to get movies. I have been going over this with them since last week, now they want to give me a $20.00 credit, I don't think that they are being fair, they are trying to justify there mistakes. Seems to me everybody is passing the blame back and forth from one dept. to another and they lied on me, because the pin that I gave them didn't even work. I think that I should be given a credit for more than $20.00, and Spectrum should do a better job than they are doing, they need to let people know exactly what needs to be done.
