This is a quick note of THANKS to "Jose", the operations manager of the Sunnyvale, California Toys R' Us -- who, today, when above and beyond to not only compensate for a rather problematic employee ("Angie"), but also really do the right thing. (Jose listened to our story -- that we were 10 days over the 90-day return window returning a $70 purchase made by a Grandpa for our son... because Grandpa has been diagnosed with cancer, and is not expected to live out the year. Angie basically shrugged; Jose found a way to honor the spirit of the item return -- with the result that we'll be tweeting great things about Toys R' Us, and likely spending a lot more money with the store. Nice job, Jose. Professionally handled!
