Robert Shabbick sent a message to Bruce VanSaun that said:
Mr. Van Saun, I had an Auto Loan which was paid off in July 2014, I have the congratulatory letter that loan was paid off. I moved recently and misplaced my title. DMV requests a simple signed Lien Release letter that states the Lien was satisfied. The letter I have as evidence was not signed.
NJ DMV supervisors were even on the phone with Citizens bank and their supervisors attempting to help me obtain the lien release letter. Stated all they had to do was fax it to them. 6 days have gone by multiple calls to Citizens Bank and speaking to supervisors and now they are telling me I need to go thru a 3rd party titling Agency. This is unacceptable. This loan was paid off 5 years ago and all I need is a simple signed lien release letter faxed to a NJ Government Agency DMV. I would appreciate your assistance in this matter.
Thank you,
Robert
