Carol sent a message to Jane Fraser CEO, CitiMortgage that said:
Dear Jane Fraser;
I would love to talk to someone from Citi Mortgage who has a degree of authority. Unfortunately there are hundreds of complaints about Citi's poor practices and customer service department as a whole. Many of the complaints are very similar to what I have been experiencing but I'm sure that my situation is unique. Even Congressman Van Hollen's office can not understand how Citi does business.
I also wonder if you. as the CEO of Citi Mortgage realize what kind of service customers are really receiving. We are lied to, avoided and mislead. It is as if Citi just wants to take houses and couldn 't care less about the homeowners situation. War Veteran? Widow/widower? Fallen on hard times? It's pretty obvious that there is no compassion within Citi Mortgage. They drag out those promises of loss mitigation and/or modification , will not let you pay on the mortgage and keep tacking on fees so that you can never catch up.
Could I please hear from an executive from Citi? Over the last 2 years I have been handed off to about 10 "specialists" and the process starts all over again. They quite conveniently lose papers sent in with packets, Ask for information that does not exist. Quite frankly dealing with Citi Mortgage is like banging your head against the wall.
There are people who need help out there and are not receiving any reliable information from your bank. I am in desperate help of help myself and mostly due to the incompetence of these so call "Specialists".
