Angela Emmert sent a message to John Walsh that said:
Dear Sir,
I am emailing you because I have tried every outlet to get help to turn my gas heat back on.
My husband was injured 20 months ago and just went back to work last week. I have a son with a life threatening disease.Cystic fibrosis. Our bill is 3600. A paymew of 933. Was paid to UGI in June. we just couldn\'t keep up with the bills coming in. We did have a payment plan but I couldn\'t afford it. When we got the shut off notice in August, I had called the credit dept and spoke to a supervisor named Janice she told me to fax copies of my husbands diability incone. We could then set a payment plan of 233. Per month. I called to insure the fax was received. 3 business days later, our gas was shut off. I was sent a CAP application the day after the shut off and was told by manager Amanda that if our gas is shut off we don\'t qualify. They stated they had sent 4 CAP applications to us in the past. I never filled them out because our income was always over by as little as 50.00.
I am asking you if there is anything you can do to help us get our gas turned back on and put on a payment plan? It is gettibg cold in our home and we boil water for baths My son I worry most because of his lung disease.
Sincerely,
Angela Emmert 570-902-9979
