Cynthia Pinto sent a message to Glenn Renwick that said:
Dear sir, the end of August we purchased a Harley Davidson trike at the contract signing the contract writer informed us that most people use Progressive and are extremely pleased with them. So she dialed the phone and I spoke with a very pleasant girl name Sue, she was so nice, we went with progressive. Three days later in talking to Sue she informed us if we also insured our car and rv we could save money. Gave her the vin numbers the savings was $2,000. We jumped at that being retired on a fixed income it was super exciting. We immediately spread the word to family and friends. Well last Sunday I proceeded to do my cleaning, as I placed the vacuum in the corner a splash of water popped up. My husband who is a very handy person pulled back the rug we had a puddle. He unscrewed the side in an attempt to search and stop any further damage. At that point he realized it was in need of a professional. First thing Monday morning I received a call told the girl and she said someone would be calling me. A gentleman called and in a very negative tone stated to me. "You just got insurance and your calling in a claim, I was hurt deeply hurt. I got a call that an adjuster would be by. I immediately called an indecent adjuster to come by as I was feeling this company was not right. He came sat at the table and observed. After looking around he stated we could have a problem with the claim because my husband opened the side up. When he left the independent adjuster said #1 I was taught never to confront a property owner after having damage negatively. #2 he stated he was wrong in saying we shouldn\'t, have opened it up. We as owners have and obligation if possible to stop the rv from any further damage if possible. We got a decline letter for our claim stating it was caused by a seal. Our seals are in perfect condition as my husband checks them and if any doubt he puts a patch. In fact we had a new air condition put in and a 30 year rv tech commented how great we take care of our trailer, he stated he could tell by the condition of the seals. We have had trenches winds and rains in fort myers who is to say that didn\'t lift a seal? We have suffered in this trailer for a week because of musty smell when we paid for insurance to spend in a hotel if something happens this is our primary resident. I feel they came with a negative attitude, towards us. We are decent people when traveling we blew tires and the old company said we could get a hotel, we told them we had family fifty miles away that we could stay with. We were raised to believe a higher being who sees all is the one we answer to some day and that we raised our children to live by. Thank you
