@Target_Corp – Brian Cornell – Mr. Cornell,<br>I am a regular and very usually very satisfied Target customer. However, right

Lesley Robinson sent a message to Brian Cornell that said:

Mr. Cornell,
I am a regular and very usually very satisfied Target customer. However, right now I\'m feeling very disappointed in my local store in Ellicott City, MD. On September 23, my entire home and all if its contents were destroyed in a fire. I lost everything. I was at my local Target three times during the next two days and spent more than almost $400 to get just the essentials needed for the next couple weeks including OTC drugs, sundries and some basic clothing. At the time, I asked the store manager if Target could give me any help. She said that I had to have a non-profit letter and to bring my receipts back, and they would help me. During the course of the last seven weeks, I have been back to Target several times spending close to $700 more from the Columbia and Ellicott City stores. Today I made a special trip to the Ellicott City store with my receipts and the non-profit letter to see if they could help me. Neither the manager or the Human Relations person was in the store at 1:00 p.m. today, so I had to leave my letter and receipts. I just got a call from the Human Relations person saying that there was nothing that she could do, and now I have to make another trip to Target to pick up my receipts. She didn\'t even offer to mail the receipts back to me. Given all I have to do to put my life back together, an additional run to Target is not appreciated. There was no apology from the person at Target and clearly no caring about my situation. I realize that I\'m not the only person with difficulties, but the image that Target presents is one of being community-oriented and caring. This is certainly not how I was treated. I thought that you might want to know. While I still think that Target is a good store, my attitude about your customer relations has certainly been altered. Thank you for listening to my concerns.
