Nishok Tressler sent a message to Kirk Kerkorian that said:
Dear Mr. Kerkorian,
The fact that you are an inspiration to all who reach out to you is a given, so I am going to skip the pleasantries and save you a lot of your precious time.
I have a small favor to ask of you this Christmas. I am an Indian kid with a single mom and have secured my admission to IE Business School, Madrid, but the fees are a real financial burden on mom. I am trying to lighten this burden and I was hoping you could help in whatever SMALL way you see fit. It would really make a difference in my life and it would certainly be the best Christmas present yet!
I know that when compared to the more pressing needs in the world, this need of higher education looks a little pale and I respect the fact that you could use your better judgment to deny my request, however I am just doing my part of asking people who I believe are in a position to help.
I will not take up any more of your time with trivial details but I would be more than happy to do so if you please. May God continue to prosper you all the days of your life. Happy Holidays!!
Best Regards,
Nishok Tressler
