I am writing to you regarding the horrible treatment I received today at the Babies R Us located in Fairfield California. I purchased a Graco Travel System on Friday 10/21/2016 at the Fairfield store. Today 10/26/2016 I was shopping online at Babies R Us and noticed the travel system I purchased a few days earlier was now reduced from $219.00 to $186.00. Naturally I returned to the store with receipt in hand to request the price adjustment, this is something I\'ve done many time before without any issue. However, today when I approached the counter and was greeted by Sales associate Claudette, the usually simple process turned bad. I handed Claudette my receipt and ask for the price adjustment as the item was now on sale. When she ask me what the new price was I offered to show her the item on my phone, as I had already had the Babies R Us website and item pulled up. Without checking the price in the POS system Claudette replied NOPE! and insisted that I walk her to the location of the item on the shelf. Which served no purpose as the shelf makers had not been updated. At this point Claudette them tell me she can do anything because the price on the shelf was still the same. I ask for a manager and stated to Claudette perhaps a manager can confirm the price. She at that point said she doesn\'t know and I said can someone else help me because I\'m not feeling your attitude. She then proceeds to say "Good, I don\'t want to help you anyways. Upon returning to the sales counter she handed threw my receipt on the counter and suggested that another sales associate assist me, the person she was taking then says I\'m on break. At this point the acting Manager tells another clerk to assist me but never did anyone acknowledge the poor treatment I received. I would appreciate the opportunity to verbally share the full details of my experience. Sadly, I was prepared to spend the money received back from the price adjustment and then some in Babies R Us. I have 2 expectant daughters and was prepared to shop for additional baby items for both. I can be reached at 707-553-3517
