I have been a UPS receiver/shipper for about 30 years. I am VERY GOOD to drivers who deliver to me. They are the BEST. However, I am very disappointed in the service I have received regarding a package mailed on 12/17 - a large box 30 x 24 mailed at the UPS Store #3805. According to the tracking # K2175330680 it never left the store even though the manager INSISTS he put it on the truck himself. Are store managers allowed to do that - I was under the impression only the driver could do that. An investigation is in place but NO ONE has ever called me or e-mailed me to inform me of any progress. I did speak with the Claims dept. this morning - I was connected to them AFTER I made a call to UPS. MY QUESTION - how can a large box disappear? DID IT EVER LEAVE THE STORE? WAS IT EVER PLACED ON THE TRUCK? I am 81 years of age - this was a special gift for my great-grandson - and cannot be replaced. I find that not to many people care.
