Jesse Atwell sent a message to Masayoshi Son that said:
Chairman of Soft Bank
Dear Mr Masayoshi Son,
I am the Chairman of the Board of a small Technology Development company in Midland, Michigan called CQ Simple. My reason for writing you is we are seeking an individual or company with sufficient size and scope to partner with to assist final development and market introduction of an entirely new Encryption/Authentication Protocol which our team believes will become the worldwide standard for data protection.
After several years work, our group has conceived a new and totally unique approach which will completely resolve the hacking problem now being encountered worldwide. Under this new system all data communication and storage can be considered safe without fear of intrusion. Even with the benefit of a Quantum computerâs speed and power, it will not be possible to circumvent the protocol.
As you may know, all five major encryption standards have previously been breached and are now entirely useless. My company is now in the final stage of completing a prototype which will utilize an entirely different approach to protecting against the world wide web hacking problem being experienced. Additionally, it totally precludes all unauthorized access to data storage, transmission or reception without the additional need of greater processing power.
Immediately upon completion of the prototype, we intend to issue a public challenge to any and all hackers to attempt to breach our protocol. You might remember, it was just such anonymous internet hackers that succeeded in penetrating all five previous encryption standards within a matter of minutes in some cases. However, CQ Simpleâs system fully anticipates all their efforts to break into this protocol will be in vain. We are convinced that CQ Simple will receive worldwide recognition at that point. Indeed, this new protocol will attract immediate interest from large and small companies everywhere around the world and our phones will begin to ring.
My intent with this letter is to begin the search to find a partner who recognizes that much greater worldwide marketing and support capabilities will be needed in order to maximize introduction and penetration. We estimate we will be in a position to provide world wide web validation within the next 90-180 days.
I believe it will be well worth your time to discuss this product with me further. I believe you will not be disappointed with what we have developed.
Sincerely,
Jess Atwell Chairman of the Board of Directors
