WYATT L HAZLETT sent a message to Gerard Anderson that said:
Good morning Mr. Anderson -
I'm writing to you today due to the lack of attention/corrections from DTE billing dept. We are seeking review of billing/meter reading during the 2018 season. We had set up Budget wise in 2017 to help even out the billing month to month, but in Jan '19 we received a $5000.00 bill for "corrections" for underpayment in 2018? I see in May '18 the electric bill jumped $100 mo due to the "non-capacity" charge which accentually added $100 mo. to our bill for the same energy?? Also, in reviewing our 2018 bill I find that we used exactly 9.6 ccf per month from March '18 to Sept '18 - how does that happen? We're happy to pay for the energy used. This type of billing errors dropped on us (or anyone) and the call center folks unable to help doesn't give confidence to DTE's ability to supply integrity in billing or delivering the customer service you are striving for. We are looking for someone to dive deep into our energy billing so we can decide how to supply our home.
Thank you, Wyatt Hazlett
