Nicholas Pettoruto sent a message to Edward Lampert that said:

I bought an engagement ring for my fiancé at the K-Mart store located on route 40 in Bear Delaware. I payed over $400.00 for this ring and was told that it was white gold with genuine diamonds. We took it to have it appraised and found out that not only was in not gold at all, but tarnished silver, but the diamonds were also fake! Not to mention the ring was damaged, missing diamonds! When I took it back to the store they were completely rude to me and would not assist me what so ever since k-mart is going out of business they told me all sales were final. I am close to filing a police report due to K-mart selling fake jewelry to it's customers. They would not even give me store credit or exchange the ring. As I said they were some of the rudest people I have ever encountered! I don't care if k-mart is going out of business or not, they stole $400 from me and I will continue to contact whomever I need to in order to rectify this situation. Do you know how embarrassed I was presenting this fake damaged ring to my fiancé!? Something needs to be done. It is not ok for k-mart to treat it's customers this way!
