We would like to bring up a matter regarding our Samsung RT58K7007SL fridge.

We purchased Samsung RT58K7007SL fridge on 20th August 2018. We went to the shop personally and selected this prestigious brand out of the many others, believing that it was of the top quality it projected to be.

However, after about one and half year of normal daily usage, the fridge unexpectedly broke down and report was made on 3 Dec 2019. The technician came for a few times to check the matter and finally told us that the compressor had to be replaced and it was.

On 10th January 2020, we reported that the fridge broke down again and this time the technician confirmed that the fridge is beyond repair.

The ‘one to one’ exchange offer came only this afternoon, on 15th January 2020, after several follow up, and we were told that it would take another 10 working days for replacement.

First and foremost, we are totally disappointed that a fridge from a giant brand, Samsung, only lasted us for about one year and four months. To add to it, the after-service help support was disappointing too.

During the first repair, the job was not done thoroughly, we had to dispose all frozen and perishable food during the process.

The second repair also caused us to dispose most of our frozen food items, some of which were specially bought in preparation for the Chinese New Year festival.

We sincerely hope you understand that all these caused not only money, food wastage but also a lot of inconveniences.

In fact, as you are aware, the Chinese New Year is in less than 2 week time and it is a major festival for us. We have to do a lot of preparation and we use fridge extensively.

We have already lost a few days and now when the problem is identified, we are asked to wait for another two weeks before the problem will be fixed, even though a new replacement is proposed.

This is totally unacceptable from a big and reputable Company like Samsung.

Please help to look into this urgent case, expedite the matter and advise us on the possible shortest time for the new replacement.
