Your self-checkout registers need a software update. When one needs to LOOK UP a code, a pop-up appears touting how look-up has just gotten easier. That pop-up is 1) over a year old, and 2) requires another action to dismiss it. It definitely is NOT easier to have extra actions in the process.
Go try it yourself, and then find someone who can fix it. Better yet, ask Mr. McMillon to try to check out a cart load of produce and see how long it is before he gets frustrated.
