The purpose of the IRS transcript is to show that the tax return has been filed and received by the IRS. Your purpose is to prevent it from being changed after the loan has been issued. Unfortunately the IRS hasn't even cashed our check for payment of taxes due; so we have no proof that it was sent.
In lieu of the transcript we have agreed to sign any document, under penaly of pergury, or even loss of the deposit; that states that we will not change the tax return, which is the purpose of the transcript, to prove that the return is filed.
It is also unconstitutional to penalize some one for something you think they will do in the future.
We are very frustrated, no one is responding, we are being totally ignored; have satisfied all of the requirements for the loan, sent all the documents you requested, sent proof of payment of all of our debts and credit cards, have no debts except the two we agreed to pay off through escrow, have a FICO of 790, and no history of dishonesty.
We even have a letter from your company stating that our loan has been credit approved.
We want to buy the home, but apparently you do not want to sell it.
Our current lease is up at the end of this month, and if we have to move twice, two pianos and personal property; it will cost us over $10,000.00
Therefore we have only one recourse, take legal action against D R Horton.
