Maryann Miley sent a message to William Dillard II that said:
Dear Mr. Dillard,
I hope this finds you healthy and happy. I am healthy and happy but am frustrated/disappointed in an unresolved situation with Dillards. I have sent 3 emails to customer service and one phone call(only to be told policy varies depending on store manager). In a nutshell, I purchased the mother of the bride dress-daughter's wedding has been moved like many to now November. in one week of receiving the price dramatically was cut. I asked for an exchange price and was told if I return it I couldn't re-buy, so I wrote 3 times in and now response. Please help. It is an expensive gown and we may not even be able to have the one my only daughter dreamed of. Can I please get a price change under the above circumstances. When I called and emailed the dress was still in the 30 days( I can send you the email I sent if you like). Please even a gift card..then I could buy shoes. I am a limited budget as a single mom teacher, but regardless I think from my past Saks fifth avenue working and Mervyns days that this would be a win-win for both of us. Please let me know your thoughts. Sincerely, Manic Mother of the Bride.
