Hi Mr Bitzer, i purchased a whirlpool 40 gallon water heater from lowes in 2005 that failed in 2011 and was under warranty so it was changed with new one by local plumber you guys sent which ended up costing my mother $700 to get it done now we find out from lowes she should of never paid anything that whirlpool should of paid for it to be done now that water heater the pilot wont stay lit so i was told the thermcouple needs to be changed i think its still under warranty but was told it ended in 2017 which makes no sense as its a 12 year warranty and if it was installed in 2011 it should be under warranty till 2023 and you guys should send a local plumber you guys use to change the thermocouple my mom is ederly house bound and needs hot water we have waited between lowes and whirlpool repair dept over a month for somebody to do something since you are the ceo could you please help us and send someone to fix the heater i cant change it im disabled too so i need someone to change it so we have hot water again please and thank you
