Tom Riley sent a message to Doug McMillon that said:
Good afternoon, Mr McMillon, I just spent the better part of 45 minutes trying to check out at your E Noble Visalia, Calif. branch! Your manager there did a shift change at 4:00 pm and shut down all but 1 teller, which had 30 people in her line. When I went to pay with a check, your machine wouldn't accept it, after 3 tries, I paid cash. I ask to see the manager and someone said he would get one. After waiting another 10 minutes, nobody ever showed up!!! I have been in retail for 45 years, and if I ran my business like this I would be out of a job. I had just used a check at your other branch, and my check went through just fine, I checked my account and there was 10 times the money in it, that my check was for. When they did open ANY checkers up, it was only one, for a total of 2!!! This is not the first time I've had a problem at this branch. If you reach out to me, it will show SOMEONE at Walmart really cares if their customers are happy or not......I don't know about you, but my business grows by return customers and WORD OF MOUTH!
