Mr. Jeffrey J. Brown, My mother died on August 16, 2020. On September 11, 2020 I contacted Ally.com to establish an estate checking account given that my mom and I were already Ally.com customers. For over a month and after hours of Emails, Chats, and phone calls, and after providing all the documentation requested of me and then some, I was not able to get the account established. This is even after I was told a week before that it would be only another 24-hours and the account would be opened. Finally I was told to wait some more and call the "decedent team" the next day. I have been the executor for other estates as well, and I never experienced such shoddy service! And don't lean on COVID-19 as an excuse for poor service. Have you seen what healthcare providers have been able to accomplish under the same conditions? It puts Ally.com to shame.
