@usbank – Richard Davis – Andy Cecere, Chairman, President & CEO Regarding a letter sent to me on September 22

Richard Kittner sent a message to Richard Davis that said:

Andy Cecere, Chairman, President & CEO

Regarding a letter sent to me on September 22, 2020 about my credit card, which I will forward as soon as our discussion is not public as it has personal information in the body.

I received this letter the first week in October and was confused as I have a banking relationship with your company for many years, in any case, I called in on October 6, 2020 and talked to a company representative about this letter and gave her the information she requested. I was then told by this representative that I needed to take no further action as this was now verified.
On October 14, 2020, I was shopping at Fred Meyer and tried to use my US Bank Fred Meyer card and was turned down in front of people I know because Tillamook Oregon is a very small town. Embarrassing!!!
Maybe if my credit score wasn’t above 800 and had NO DEBT, I would not have been as upset as I was.
What I found on this call on 10/14 was that my other credit cards had all been verified but the one ending in 3320 was not. So my card was blocked. All the person sending these letters had to do was look at my account and see that you had all of my needed addresses already recorded in my account.
Needless to say, I am very upset about this!
So long term relationships, relationships with good credit are meaningless in today’s world? Are these attributes also meaningless to US Bank?
You have my permission to listen in to the call on October 6, 2020, where I was told everything is OK. And do not hurt that lovely person that helped me. If she was not trained correctly, then shame on you.
I do not like the way I was treated by your company and is why I have sent you this letter.
In your response you can explain if you choose, why I should continue to do business with you.
