Sir:
I am a senior (age 77) who has a heart condition among others and I need my landline telephone in case of an emergency. I have contacted on line as well waiting over an hour on a borrowed phone cell and on my landline with static to have a repair person come fix the lines. Finally after over 2 weeks someone came yesterday, checked my lines and told me that it was the outside lines where the trouble is at. This lady did get me a line but said it needs more work. This morning I wake up to LINE IN USE AND NO DIAL TONE. I also have been awaken by the police 4 am saying that they received a 911 call from my phone number. This has happened several time which I have informed the police that I am having trouble with my telephone and Verizon is suppose to be fixing it. I have been with this company since 1962 and have never had any problem with you all while I lived in Baltimore. Since moving here to Cambridge, Maryland every time we have high winds or storms, my line gets static or just goes dead and it this also effects my internet . I Sir, am at my wits end. Please see what you can do to upgrade the service to we the landline customers.
Also, I feel that there should be some compensation be give to me on my bill.
Thank you for your time as I know it is valuable.
