I am a very unhappy customer. I have had an account at what is now Truist, BB&T and prior banks before BB&T. My neighborhood BB&T closed so I contacted my new branch to order new checks, and they arrived with an incorrect phone. Along with the checks was a letter that said to contact my branch if there was problem. I have called my "new" branch several times. One time I was transferred to the 800 number. That was worse that waiting for someone to answer at the bank. At the bank, I was put on hold to wait for a BB&T banker. Hold appears to be forever, so I hung up. I will just cross out the wrong number. Also, I sold my home, the money is in an account at Truist. I was supposed to hear from a "banker" who could help me. That hasn't happened.
All I can say is that Chase Bank or Bank of America are looking better every day. Totally unacceptable service.
