I am an educator with The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County – Antonio Urcelay email address

Allison sent a message to Antonio Urcelay Chairman and CEO, Toys R Us, Inc. that said:
I am an educator with The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County Indiana. I teach valuable environmental education programs to children and young people in our area. I faxed our general sales tax exemption certificate to Toys R Us. I am in need of the giant children's play tunnel to teach one of our district's programs. Even though I have faxed our information to your company, I am still required to pay tax for one of your products online. I find it very alarming that online purchases from your company are still forced to pay tax, even when a form has been provided. It is also unnecessary that the only way to recognize our agency tax exempt status is to pay full tax first and then be reimbursed at a later time. Government agencies do not work that way. Toys R Us is losing business by not practicing this business protocol. So, now I am unable to make my purchase from your company, which is very disappointing. I even called our local store and they were not able to handle ordering this product for me, honoring the tax exempt information. You should update your website to allow for tax exemption information to be accepted, thus allowing your company to make more money. I will have to shop elsewhere.
