479 MORAN XING Dear Mr. Swift, I want to inform you of what I believe to – Christopher J Swift email address

michael barclay sent a message to Christopher J. Swift - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Hartford - Email Address that said:

479 MORAN XING
Dear Mr. Swift,

I want to inform you of what I believe to be a defect in your communication process with auto insured. I have auto pay for most of my recurring bills. When I received a notice from The Hartford thanking me for renewing my auto insurance along with a policy with expiration dates, I am comforted to know that I am covered for the next year. However, this is not the case. Instead, I find that I am uninsured for non-payment of premium by casually checking my policy; not because I received a notice of cancellation from The Hartford. To add insult I was told by your agent that I could not be reinstated for a year. What if I had an accident and found out that I had no insurance; this could have resulted in financial ruin at an age that I could not afford.
I truly hope that you read this and take some action so no one suffers.

If you do not, I hope then that if someone does suffer a loss due to your defective process that they will be able to recover as they should.

Regards,

Michael Barclay
