817 52nd Ave. W, Bradenton, FL.34207 Dear Mr. Robo, I returned to my mobile home from the shelter, to find a broken powerpole, wires come off FPLs powerpole. It was broken at the base, wedged against FPLs powerpole and my fence. I still had power, I treid to get an electrician, to no avail, so I fixed broken water line, broken window, etc. A week later I came home tonight, a note was on my gate, stating my powerpole was damaged and FPL wouldnt turn on power till pole was fixed. Neighbors watched two men, one wearing a cowboy hat, climb the pole with spikes, cut the wires. then stood on my fence and stomped up and down till pole smashed to the ground, laughing loudly while he did this. He destroyed the boxes and pipes on my pole! I have before and after pictures. I am a 72 year old, disabled, senior citizen, I felt like crying! Why would he do that, just cut the wires, pole wasnt going anywhere, its on a vacant lot, it was wedged against FPL pole and resting on my fence! I am so disappointed that FPL would hire a contracter who works like this! This is like kicking a man when he is down!!!!!
