I’m asking because I’m married, have a 15 year old daughter, & although we are hard working people, we continue to struggle financially. We have 2 used cars, & they require services. Whilst we only have 1 credit card, it’s generally maxed out or close to it, even though I put money on it as often as I can. We constantly live week to week, “Living On A Prayer”, as it were.
My wife, daughter & myself are happy, & we don’t want for much. My wife & daughter go without a lot of the time, which hurts me. We’ve been renting where we are for almost 10 years now. The rent has never been late in all that time. My wife works in child care, & all she wants is to own our own home. Her mother is now in her early 70’s, & lives in a 2 bedroom government unit. The way things are, we may have no choice other than to move in with her soon, which we really don’t wish to do.
Ideally we’d like to have a large enough home to have her move in, yet which still allows her to have her own space, & for us to have ours. This is why I’m asking that you may please grant me $1,000,000 AUD.
Although my passion is writing, I’ve worked since 16 years of age to make ends meet, & I’m now almost 42. I dropped some weight a few years ago, & as a consequence of getting fitter & healthier, I’ve been in a great place since then! I’m currently pitching reality TV show proposals I create along with movie ideas to different companies via the internet. I’m passionate about my writing & ideas. This amount would simply make our lives much better. It would mean more than you could imagine to us. I would invest a portion of this & also perhaps use some of it to self fund my own film projects. Basically, it would be my dreams come true! It would simply be wonderful to no longer have to struggle.
