We, those living within the area to be identified would like to have a choice as to an affordable internet provider. Presently, we have only the opportunity to use various jetpacks, satellite, dsl, etc. All of these services are very limited in usage and are very expensive for the most part. I personally inquired of Spectrum this past week as to the availability of your service. In general, the zip code of 49333 (Middleville, MI) 20 minutes from Grand Rapids, MI⦠indicates it is available, however upon inquiry I was advised that it in fact ends within eyesight of our home on Green Lake Road, Middleville, MI. Needless to say I am as disappointed as one can be. Our daughter has bragged about your service since their installation took place.
For reference, I have measured and counted the involved residences that would have your service available if in fact it was continued on Green Road and additional 1.7 Miles. Within this area is a private roadâ¦Woodside Drive .2 mile in length, Schad Roadâ¦1.0 mile in length, Beauterra Lane .275 Mile in length, and Olivera Drive .125 mile in length⦠for a total of 45 residences within 3.3 Miles of additional service line.
Of these residences, (5) homes sales have occurred on this section of Green Lake Rd in the past 3 years, (3) new construction on Schad Rd within the last 3 years, and the entire community including Beauterra Ln & Olivia Dr has been constructed within the past 5 years.

Iâm certain your engineers do not wish to be advised of their jobs, but for additional mention⦠there are Consumers Energy poles with what appears to be telephone cable as well, running the majority of the requested area. The majority of the owners within this area are of reasonable income, with homes valued between the $200,000 to $350,000 range. This 3.3 mile area described is in very close proximity to Thornapple Schools(High, Middle, and Elementary Schools) and yet we are deprived of proper internet service for the men, women, and children encompassing this area.
So, at this point I am making a dire request that Spectrum extend its service line to include the residences included within the above identified 3.3 mile area. We live in a time, especially as demonstrated now that we require a reasonably priced and dependable internet provider as well as your other services. This, of course describes Charter/Spectrum with over 30 million customers, in 41 states, with a full range of services⦠and we wish to be part of it!
