Good evening Sir,
I am writing you this evening Is in regards to 93 Hippa Is violations.
I work for a company that retrieves medical record charts, for Your insurance company.
We were sent home in 2019 due to the covid. To work from home. I was the only one out of the office sent home, to work on my own private personal laptop. I was assured by my superiors that I that I would not be violating the Hippa law. That everything would go to the cloud.
They were all very wrong. I have 93 medical record requests downloaded to my hard drive on my private laptop.
In these medical record requests, There is hospital's names, doctor's names, client a client's names and dates of birth along with medical record numbers.
To me this is a HIPPA violation.
When I brought it to my company's attention they said oh no worries it's OK. That's not a hypothesilation everything would go to the cloud.
As I said they were very wrong. I am getting in touch with you this evening to rectify this.
If you were interested please contact me.
