@aflac – Daniel Amos – Good morning, I had AFLAC insurance for years for dental needs. I wanted to report

Karen Hartman sent a message to Daniel Amos that said:

Good morning, I had AFLAC insurance for years for dental needs. I wanted to report a deceptive sale by Dentist Konecky in Sarasota, Florida. The Dentist office claimed that he did not use metal (only porcelain) and for that reason the Crown cost was over $2,000. In less than 5 years, the crown he put on had to be removed due to a cavity that started to develop underneath. When the crown was removed it was metal and only a very thin layer of porcelain was adhered to top of the metal. I wanted to report this for two reasons: the first reason, the dentist claimed the cost to be higher due to no metal being used; and, the second reason, I had a crown replaced on that tooth for $730.00 which is 100% all porcelain. So I believe on both the inferior product and the cost, this dentist is clearly abusing the system when it comes to dental insurance.

Thank you for listening, I know I was taken advantage of but maybe you might consider that AFLAC also was taken advantage after reading this.
