I purchased hamburger meat from Foodlion on 4th Avenue in Conway SC on 11/20/19. I then took the meat home and placed it in the freezer like I always do. I prepared the meat on 11/25/19. When I prepared the meat and we started eating my husband complained it had something hard in it and it hurt his tooth. I had just taken my first bite and started chewing and sure enough bit down on something very hard which broke my dental implant completely out of my mouth. I didn't eat another bite neither did the rest of my family. I spit what was in my mouth out in the trash can. I do not have pictures of the packing it was in because I am not in the habit of taking pictures of meat, why would I take pictures of a pack of meat?? I prepared the meat in a frying pan using a method referred to as stir frying. I did not add anything other than salt and pepper to the meat. I expect Foodlion to compensate me ASAP for my injury as a result of their meat not being prepared properly, embarrassment of having to go through the Thanksgiving Holiday with a missing front tooth, and a huge dental bill. However, your claims dept has informed me that would not pay me a dime. I would be happy to forward all the proof to you. I have contacted the USDA, The Better Business Bureau, DHEC, US Attorney General, SC Department of Consumer Affairs, United States Department of Consumer Affairs. Foodlion is responsible for the products that are sold in their stores and for the injury that resulted due to the product.
