Liliana sent a message to Stefano Pessina that said:
I hope by the time you receive this email all of you are well and healthy with family too.
Today, at 8:30 am in Walgreens on 10 W Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787 I had an urgent situation. I needed to exchange Walgreens Certainty Menâs Underwear s/m for a large because they were very small. After waiting for more than 20 minutes, the cashier asked for a receipt that I didnât have and also for photo ID. My driverâs license is expired because I was is in the hospital and unable to update my license.
The cashier said that she canât do the exchange or help me because my driverâs license was expired. I asked for the manager, she called Ms. Daniel. Ms. Daniel was very rude to me and wouldnât help me, even though I showed proof of my name and explained to them the situation.
This all happened because I ask to exchange an item for my family health issues. I was not asking to refund the money and I also had more items to buy.
These employees are an embarrassment to have working for the Walgreen Company. I hope Walgreens Company doesnât lose more customers. Theyâve lost my business after dealing with the un-happy employees.
Sincerely, Liliana
